The year is 1994, and for the first time in ages, the Triwizard Tournament is occurring. Hogwarts has been chosen to host this momentous event, much to the delight of its students. Unfortunately, due to previous injuries and deaths, only those of age may submit their name to the Goblet of Fire, vastly reducing the number of students who are able. That doesn't mean that younger students can't try. Also doesn't mean that they'll succeed. What does the Triwizard Tournament have in store for the schools of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons? Who will be chosen to participate, and most importantly, will they all come out in one piece?

Weltschmerz (n.) The melancholy feeling when you realize that life and the world will never be what you'd like it to be. Once described as the inherent sadness of mortality.
"Yes, Sir," she said, her voice quelled with the anger she felt. Her throat felt thick from suppressing her emotions and she felt she could cry right then and there. Headmaster Igor Karkaroff nodded and dismissed her. Her eyes cast down on the floor as she gave a slow curtsy to Headmaster Karkaroff and Headmaster Dumbledore. Then turning gracefully on her heels, she pulled open the heavy doors and walked down the steps as the stairs rotated. She didn't want to be there any longer than she had to. Once the gargoyle stopped, she rushed out and ran down the corridor.
Her run had was stopped quickly as she collapsed on the floor, her legs under her. Dagny began to cry, her face swelling up and her eyes, cheeks, and nose becoming red. Tears ran down her cheeks and her nose began to run. She cried so hard she could hardly breath and she was in between that edge of crying and trying to stop at the same time. But the more she tried to stop the more she cried. Gasps of air did nothing to help her. It seemed like she would never stop, so she gave up trying and just cried. It was the first time she'd ever cried, truly cried about this. It was the first time she couldn't stop it. Around others, she could hold up the facade. But alone, she was weak.
Headmaster Karkaroff had received a letter from her parents. They had both demanded that Headmaster Dumbledore allow a private tutor to come to Hogwarts and teach Dagny. They felt that Hogwarts education was archaic and Headmaster Karkaroff did nothing to advice them otherwise. She was embarrassed, beyond embarrassed. Because not only did they say she had to have her own personal tutor, but they also informed her that she would not be going to the Ministry of Magic to become an Auror. She had sent in her reports and an essay explaining why she wanted to become an Auror and all the good that she could do for them. She explained that although her family was known to be on the darker side of things, that she is different. That she had no intentions of following in her families footsteps or being in the family business. This, to her great disappointment, had not been kept confidential. Because an application to the Ministry of Magic by a great family like the Klausen could not go without notice from spies. A copy of the letter found their way to her mother and father. And them being who they were, threw a great fit of rage. The letter to Headmaster Karkaroff told him all about their daughter's embarrassing betrayal. And, that the Headmaster had their full permission to do everything he felt necessary to discipline her.
She was to have no fun and no free time at Hogwarts. Her last year of school would be spent working and studying to death so that she could take her rightful place with her brothers as owners of their company. She is to fence, duel, study the dark arts (not the defense of it), double classes in potions, all the classes that Hogwarts had to offer, plus the studies that her personal tutor would require her to do. She would not have a life. She never had a life, and she was not going to get one anytime soon. If ever. Her life belonged to her parents, and they made sure she knew it. As strong as Dagny was, she was powerless. She was merely a pawn in her parents game.
After a while, Dagny's cries subsided. She took a deep breath and then wiped off her tears. She had calmed down to only a few soft sobs until she was completely quite. Her face was still red and the traces of tears lingered on her weary face. But she remained on the floor, in the dark and all alone.

Kairos (n.) A time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action; the opportune anddecisive moment.
Viktor had… gotten lost. He had never been here before, this school was so new to him, he didn’t know exactly where to go, how to get back to his room or anything of the sort. He barely got to his classes without being late. He wasn’t the brightest of people and he knew that, he made up by being strong and good at his job. He was trying to make his way to where they were staying at this moment in time. Took a left… then a right… and another left and ended up in a place that looked identical to where he was a moment ago. His wand out as a light, he made his way through this god forsaken maze of a school where hallways had dead ends and no one could help him. he thought about how someone should make a map of this place for a while before wondering how first years made their way around this place.
Out of the corner of his ear? He heard someone, turning off his wand, completely in the dark; he slowly made his way towards that person. He was pretty good at navigating in the dark when he wasn’t in a hurry. It was a few moments before his eyes adjusted to the dark a little better and he could walk a little faster. He grew closer to the sound, realized someone was crying. Crying wasn’t a good thing to do. The person could get sick from crying, they’re face could get irritated and red. He moved closer, slowing his steps to be very quiet. He turned the corner and could hear the crying much louder, he was in the same room/corridor as them. They also seemed very… familiar like he had heard this particular crying pattern before. He thought about it for a moment and it could only be one person. His best friend. This broke his heart, he cared deeply for Dagny in a friend way. He was protective of her, one of his very true friends he’d imagine having forever in his life.
He moved closer, "please, no crying" Viktor was not a man of words, he rarely spoke to be honest but when he did, he was very meaningful and said things straight to the point.
