The year is 1994, and for the first time in ages, the Triwizard Tournament is occurring. Hogwarts has been chosen to host this momentous event, much to the delight of its students. Unfortunately, due to previous injuries and deaths, only those of age may submit their name to the Goblet of Fire, vastly reducing the number of students who are able. That doesn't mean that younger students can't try. Also doesn't mean that they'll succeed. What does the Triwizard Tournament have in store for the schools of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons? Who will be chosen to participate, and most importantly, will they all come out in one piece?

Dueling is pretty simple and basic. You can decide whether you just want to do a plain RP duel where each Member decides whether their character gets hit or not, or you can do a 'roll dice' duel.
Each person uses a number, the numbers are 1-6.
Here's how the numbers stack: 1. You're somewhere between really bad and average. 2. You're average. You're not awful, but not great either. 3. You're above average, like a Harry or (young) Hermione. 4. You've probably already graduated and know a lot about spells and dueling. Or you're an older Hermione who knows a ton! 5. You're VERY good, in fact you're probably a Death Eater or an Order of the Phoenix member. 6. You're THE best, like Voldemort/Dumbledore good! (obviously, not a lot of people will be using this number)
YOU decide your number for each duel you do. Of course, you'll probably want to stick with the same number each time since it's pretty difficult to go from Neville-like skills to Hermione-like skills within just a few months. Make sure that the number you choose is fair and matches your character. Most students will be 1, 2, or 3. However, feel free to choose a number based on who you're going up against. For instance, if your opponent is a first year and they chose 1, and you're a 7th year, you probably won't choose 2, but instead 4. Even though you haven't graduated, the large gap in knowledge & experience should be accounted for.
Once you've chosen your number, you just click the Dice button located on the top of your post writing box. You can also just type it. It looks like this: (take out the asterisk * & replace the pound # with your number that you chose for your character.)
[*roll range="#"]
You will get either a success or a fail. This is pretty simple. Any other rules should be agreed upon by the duelists.
Remember, this is all just for fun! We're not making the 'rules', we're just providing you with the template. You don't have to do the dice roll for you duels, but it's available if you do want to.
